Autocad drafting of facilities, parts and assemblies MS-Project to control projects and simulate process Process Capability, efficiency and aggragate capacity MODAPTS analysis MODAPTS (MODular Arrangement of Pre-Determined Time Standards) is a work measurement tool that objectively measures human performance. The MODAPTS system is a manual method that requires on-floor observation of operations as they are performed and accounts for all of the motions and actions that are used to complete each operation. Performance times are based on the premise that motions will be carried out at the most energy-efficient speed. In 1966, MODAPTS was introduced. It received immediate acceptance and today ranks among the most popular in the world. MODAPTS is a recognized technique, meeting all criteria of the U. S. Defense Department and Department of Labor to develop industrial standards. The United Auto Workers at Ford is using MODAPTS to resolve local workload issues.
Process Flow imporvement to existing or planned facilities. Processes evaluated for value added, frequented times, availability and reliability. We may model process as Project time line with concurrent processes. A 'lean flow' facility layout is produced in CAD form. An 'as-is' or 'as-built facility layout is also produced as the basis for the plan.
Man and machine task analysis or synthesis. Ergonomics and safety is taken into account to advise on present method or recommended change or new method.
Elemental Task times for assembly and other manual processes is assessed using Predetermined Standard times based on Standard normal human body capabilities. The Internationally accepted MODAPTS system is used.
