communications company specializing in Fixed Wireless Internet
Access via our wireless and fiber optic infrastructure in
Western Canada. The WiBand corporate Head Office and Network
Operations Centre (NOC) is in Winnipeg, Manitoba with regional
offices in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta. In addition to
broadband Internet access and related services, the company
sells Wireless Networking equipment and supplies, and offers a
full suite of Wireless Design and Deployment, Network
Integration and Wireless Maintenance and Support services.
Incorporated in 1998, WiBand is the longest-running Fixed
Wireless Access provider in Canada. WiBand has extensive
experience with a broad range of Internet access and private
Wide Area Networking solutions in both public and private
sectors. Our customer base in the public sector includes
municipal government, public education, and First Nations.
Private sector customers are widely diversified and include oil
& gas production and service, manufacturing and distribution and
entertainment service companies to name a few.

Broadband Internet Access WiBand owns and operates a communication infrastructure in Western Canada through which the company provides Broadband Internet access, Wide Area Networking (WAN), Virtual Private Networking (VPN), Voice over IP (VoIP), and Video Conferencing services. WiBand utilizes Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) technology to offer symmetrical Internet access packages with bandwidth from 2Mbps to as high as 100Mbps. All packages include FWA equipment, Internet Gateway utilization, 24 hr 1800 Customer Care, on-site Service and ongoing technical support.

Wireless Engineering Services Wireless Engineering services include Radio Frequency (RF) Spectrum consultation, selection and IC Licensing, Wireless Network Design and Modelling, RF Equipment selection, RF Path Profile analysis, Frequency Planning, Reliability Modelling and Site Development.
