WHETUNG OJIBWA CENTRE
Established in 1829 as a trading post, Whetung Ojibwa Crafts and
Art Gallery has prospered to become a 10,000 square feet gallery
and museum located on the Curve Lake Indian Reserve in Ontario,
Canada. for over 150 years it has established a reputation for
excellence with its customers by maintaining a high standard in
the craft and art products it markets. Most of the arts and
crafts sold are community produced through the production centre
provided as the work place for Curve Lake's artists and artisans.
Many of these craftspeople are fourth and fifth generation
artisans. Growing demand has consequently required Whetung to
expand its inventory to include high quality arts and crafts
from across the country.
