The UILO is a collaborative venture of the City and the University to commercialize research through technology transfer. Our mandate is to identify and protect intellectual property; to catalyze collaborative research projects and develop industrial partnerships; to license university developed technologies, software, and know-how; and to promote local economic development through the creation of university spin-off companies.
