Thermo-Cell Industries collects and processes or acquires, through primary and secondary waste paper contracts, recycled paper/paperboard for the purpose of manufacturing value added products such as residential and commercial thermal and acoustical insulation, hydro seeding mulch and specialty fibres. The primary product is insulation. It is comprised of approximately 80% recycled fibre and 20% fire retardant chemical. Besides imparting fire resistant properties, the fire retardant also imparts anti-mold, mildew and rot wood rotting properties and as well as a resistance to insects, mice and other vermin. The organic, short and hollow fibre nature of the product provides superior thermal and acoustical properties over rock wool and fibre glass products and is non-irritable and safe to handle.
