Strathroy Foods(parent company is Carriere Foods) was established
in 1983 with the sole purpose of growing, processing and
distributing vegetables for the rapidly expanding frozen food
market. The modern plant in Strathroy (Ontario) benefits from an
agricultural base, ideally suited to vegetable production.
Thousands of acres of prime Ontario farmland bear the Strathroy
Foods mark of excellence. The Collective interests ensure a
reliable supply of consistently high-quality vegetables, using
only seeds of proven quality, and employing the most efficient
agricultural methods known to industry.

Strathroy Foods is a unique blend of twentieth century technology
and experience, combined with 'old-fashioned know-how' and
intuition. Growing a product that offers a mix of preferred
characteristics requires textbook training, an experienced eye,
and a team of dedicated professionnals. Strathroy Foods
constantly tests and monitors vegetables during harvesting; safe
guarding the high company standards.

Strathroy Foods markets frozen vegetables under their Artic
Gardens brand. Also, a major North American supplier of private
label and control label products. We are HACCP focused and the
largest exporter of assorted frozen vegetables in Canada.
