Flexible Circuits
Strataflex has the following capabilities :
1- single sided flex - normally oz., 1 oz or 2 oz copper,
Kapton bared one side or both
2 -Type 2 Flex - double-sided, plated through holes.
3- Type 3 Flex - multi-layer, plated through holes.
4- Type 4 Flex - rigid flex.
5- Type 5 Flex - multi-layer flex without plated through holes.
6- Fine lines presently doing 4 mil lines and 3 mil spaces on
double sided flex
7- UL approval to 94V-0
8- Connector and component add-on assemblies. Soldering to
MIL-STD-2000.
9- Interconnect flex - a system to replace rigid flex at a much
more cost effective way.
10- Sculptured flex - begin with .010' thick copper - leave
fingers and pads at .010', etch flexible portion of circuit
down to 0.004.
11- DESC and DND certified facility for Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. MIL PRF 31032/3/4, MIL 50884
12- Full design capability on CAD/CAM in house.
13- Laser maching of Kapton for outline, covercoat skiving or
small holes to reduce prototype costs by eliminating hand tooling
costs.
14- Special conductor alloys available.
