Dairyworld Foods was established in 1992 from the merger of
Western Canada's four largest dairy co-operatives. Dairyworld is
owned by its 1,800 co-op dairy products and has a co-op history
dating back to 1917.

Dairyworld Foods is Western Canada's largest food company with
1997 sales of $1.1 billion and 23 processing plants in six
provinces. We are also on of the 125 largest companies in Canada
and one of the top ten diary food companies in North America.

Since its establishment in 1992, Dairyworld Foods has added
operations in the provinces of Manitoba and Ontario. It has also
created a joint venture in Quebec to produce Yoplait yogurts in
Granby, Quebec. Today, we are the only Canadian dairy company
that distributes products in all ten provinces.

Internationally, Dairyworld Foods is the largest Canadian
supplier of dairy products in the Asia Pacific Region, and also
exports to Russia, Latin America and South Africa.
