SNC-Lavalin Inc. is a Canadian engineering firm providing multi-
disciplined consulting services to public and private sector
clients throughout Atlantic Canada and around the world.
The firm was established in the 1950s and has offices in
Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Fredericton, New Brunswick, with a
staff complement of over 70 individuals.
SNC-Lavalin Inc. is a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group which
provides access to the diversified expertise and resources of
Canadas largest engineering and construction firm with office
locations worldwide. In addition, supplementary expertise in
areas such as geotechnical engineering and quality assurance is

Computer technology is broadly used by SNC-Lavalin Inc. in the

sophisticated engineering analysis. Each company individual has
access to an IBM compatible computer with various software
packages such as MS Office 95 Suite. Project drawings are
prepared utilizing top end computer workstations and AutoCAD
drawing and design software.
All computers are networked via a Local Area Network (LAN) which
provides office e-mail, and in addition, Internet e-mail by
dedicated connection of the LAN to an Internet Gateway by means
of the SNC-Lavalin Wide Area Network (WAN).
