Rolog logging fittings such as ferrules, spiral wedges, choker
hooks, skidder rings, falling wedges and log bundling systems
are for use with wire rope. With their specialized attachment
system of spiral wedges and ferrule assembly, which eliminates
hand splicing of wire rope, these 'quick fixes', quick ways' or
'quick knobs', as they are often called, offer the logger a fast,
effective and tool-free way to repair their choker or dead-end
their winchline in the field.
Custom castings and assemblies in ductile and gray iron, low
alloy, stainless and manganese steels and bronzes are sold in
Canada and the USA.
Robar speciality water-works fittings, cast and fabricated
stainless steel pipe couplings, saddles, repair clamps, tapping
sleeves and sewer saddles are used in facilities construction,
servicing and pipeline repair. These fittings are ideal for
quickly tapping into an existing pipeline or repairing a line in
a corrosive environment such as a pulpmill. The operation
includes machining, rubber moulding and epoxy coating.
Waterworks fittings are sold throughout North America.
Robar has a 50,000 square foot facility on a four-acre site in
