Transport Of Sediments To Deep Ocean Floor Via Submarine Pipeline Systems.

Design And Installation Of Water Treatment Removal Systems Including Bio-treatment.
We offer a comprehensive consulting and design service in the fields of physical, chemical and bio-chemical treatment process to remove inorganic and organic contaminants from waste to meet discharge criteria. Our principal focus in water treatment includes solid /liquid separation to remove particulates and chemical and biochemical processes to remove contaminants such as ammonia, chlorine, dissolved metals, sulphates, etc. Rescan can also provide assistance with the design, permitting, construction monitoring and eventual closure of facilities.

Design Programs; Manage And Conduct Data Gathering And Analysis; And Prepare And Defend Reports And Applications For Permits And Licenses.
Rescan Environmental Services has completed numerous assignments covering the fields of environmental engineering, metallurgy, chemistry, biology, oceanography, geology, hydrology, socioeconomics, and resource planning. Rescan offers the necessary expertise in government liaison and project management to complete Environmental Impact Assessments. We coordinate reports involving biophysical baseline studies comprising of assessments of climate, water, groundwater and surface hydrology, air quality, fisheries, wildlife and vegetation, soils and terrain, archaeology, and socioeconomics. Through our specialization in submarine tailings placements (STP) for mining projects in the northern, temperate and tropical areas of the world, we have acquired expertise in disciplines directly applicable to the siting, permitting, design and installation of overland and underwater pipelines, outfalls and diffusers for domestic and industrial wastes and cooling water intakes and outfalls. Additionally, Rescan develops impact mitigation and resources management plans as well as comprehensive mine waste management measures to meet prevailing regulatory requirements in coastal and inland projects. Environmental management also being one of our specializations, we have considerable experience in liaison with regulatory authorities both in Canada and abroad.
