Since 1991, Produits Forestiers Munger Inc. offers its expertise
in industrial machinery, hydraulics and pneumatics. Our core
team is constituted of engineers and technicians trained in
design, drafting and quality control. Our 30 people strong
production staff specialises in welding, structural assembly,
mechanical maintenance and machining.
The company specialises in industrial machinery. We offer
various quality services to our clients, spaning over various
industries: steel fabrication, forestry, agriculture, mining and
others. We also deal in heavy industries as paper mills, aluminum
production plants and more specifically, sawmills.
Produits Forestiers Munger Inc. with Groupe Proco-Munger
(with Holdings) has facilities of 70 000 square feet for
production and storage (and 700 000 sq.ft. in land area). Our
facilities house our machining, assembly, cleaning, painting and
maintenance workshops.
These workshops are equipped with both specialised and versatile
equipment. We are capable of overtaking fabrication and assembly
projects over a wide spectrum to answer every customer's specific
needs.
Design and drafting is computer-assisted to guarantee the
precision and quality of finished products. CAD/CAM enables us
to respond accurately and rapidly to our customers' demands.

PAST ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Design, management of manufacturing and installation of a high
speed hydraulic wood stacker.
- Design, management of manufacturing and installation of a 180
parts/min planing line,producing more than 400,000 BFM/8.5HRS.
- Design of miscellaneous hydraulic and pneumatic power control
systems.
- Design of miscellaneous hydraulic distribution manifolds.
- Design of material transfer systems for saw mills.
- Performance analysis and optimisation of various machinery in
saw mills (V-heads, bull edger, band saw, board splitter,
planer, dryer, etc.)
- Design and manufacturing of brush-cutters and flail-cutters.
- Adaptation of tracked carriers for brush-cutting applications.
- Performance analysis of miscellaneous saw mill processes
(optimisation of chip production, machine alignment, sstress
on various machine components, etc.)
- Hydraulic modification and adaptation of agricultural machnery
and construciton machinery for varied applications.
