Cypher Asic
The Cypher ASIC, Precidias embedded internet technology, is a low cost, completely integrated System-on-a-Chip (SoC) solution which allows customers to instantly network enable their existing products without requiring a detailed knowledge of the IP stack. Cypher removes network complexity by designing the IP stack into hardware, rather than software, in a single chip solution. Designed primarily for thin server applications in the internet appliance market, the Cypher converts incoming data streams into IP packets which can then be transmitted over an Ethernet or PPP interface.
