Pentastar Transportation Ltd. is an Alberta-based company founded
in 1985. Pentastar has become a leading contractor for
transportation of all types of oilfield equipment. The company
has the equipment, knowledge and expertise to accomplish the
tasks of moving a drilling rig or performing a difficult off-road
construction project. Drilling contractors, oil companies, oil
service companies, associated transportation companies, and
exploration companies have all benefited from Pentastar's
expertise and experience.

- Specialized construction in remote areas
- Moving of oil drilling rigs and associated equipment
Pentastar also maintains a large fleet of:
- Up to date bed trucks
- Winch tractor pickers with load lifting capacities ranging
from 7,500 kilograms to 21,500 kilograms (16,000 to
47,000 pounds) many with pile driver capability.
- Up to date King Air aircraft which allows for fast and
reliable transportation of its personnel.
CURRENT GEOGRAPHIC MARKETING ACTIVITY
Pentastar operates from five different locations: Spruce Grove,
Lloydminster, Slave Lake, Manning, Zama City and Calgary. These
locations allow Pentastar to service its clients province wide,
by also operating maintenance shops and rack sites.
MARKETING STRATEGY
The company's reputation has been built on the safe operation of
their equipment, by their highly trained staff. This safety
program has become top priority in order to continue serving
their customers with the highest level of confidence, for work
performed correctly, in the most safe, effective, and cost
efficient manner.
The company has registered with WINExports and Canadian Company
Capabilities and is committed to expanding into the international
marketplace. To that end, the company is participating in a
private trade mission in May 1999 to Indonesia to begin their
international endeavors.
