Over 55 (London) Inc.
Over 55 (London) Inc. is a non-profit employment agency that
connects experienced men and women with employers. Anyone 55
years of age or older can register as a client with the agency.
There is an annual client registration fee (for 1998 it is
$25.00) but there is no charge to clients for referrals. The
clients have a wide range of skills and abilities and have been
classified in 105 categories. Householders/business people who
need work done are not charged for the services of the agency.
When a request by an employer is made, agency personnel identify
an appropriate client who in turn contacts the employer. Terms of
employment, amount of payment, etc. are agreed upon by the client
and employer. Over 55 (London) Inc. does not get involved in
contractual matters.
