Oil & Gas INDEX
B & S Publications Inc., was started by Robert (Bob) Elias whose
background in the oil and gas industry is land management. Back
in 1968 he produced the Petroleum Land Journal, which listed
available oil and gas rights for disposition by subscribing
companies. Over several years a substantial database was
solidly established on companies that carried out exploration
and development in Canada as well as companies that had merged,
changed their name or sold off assets providing links to
companies that could not otherwise be found.
The Oil & Gas INDEX was started in 1987 with this database and
extensive start up research on explorers and producers in
Western Canada which included corporate searches to establish
proper registered names. To date there are over 25,000
corporate searches on file.
As such the INDEX has earned the enviable and unmistakable
reputation as the most reliable and leading source of data on
Explorers and Producers in Western Canada.
