NovoScience Pharma Inc. is a research-based
pharmaceutical company and was created by Dr. Yudu Cheng,
a former Research Officer of Biotechnology Research Institute,
National Research Council of Canada, and Mr. Joseph Gu, LL.D.,
a lawyer of Goodman Phillips & Vineberg, in 1998. The company
currently has two divisions: Drug R&D division and CRO service
division.

The division of drug R&D focuses on discovery and
development of novel therapeutics in prevention and treatment of
chronic thrombotic disorders such as deep venous thrombosis and
arterial fibrillation and acute thrombotic disorders such as
myocardial infarction and stroke. The drug candidates currently
under research and development include anticoagulants,
antiplatelets and thrombolytics.

BioCalorimetry Service Center (BSC) is a CRO (Contract
Research Organization) service division of the company. BSC
provides bio/pharmaceutical clients with professional services of
quantification of physicochemical properties critical to the drug
research & development by using unique calorimetry technology.
