Northstars multi mode fiber optic cables have successfully been downselected by Harris Corporation for use on the US F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF).
Northstars single mode fiber optic cables are currently undergoing tests, as one of three remaining companies, for use on the JSF.
Intruder Detection System (ids)
The Intruder Detection System (IDS) is designed specifically to automatically detect, classify, and track surface and underwater threats.
Northstar designed and manufactured the mechanical housing, sonar, and hydrophones on the IDS.
