Emergency calls are routed through the facility's telephone system to staff or response personnel. Staff carry portable telephone handsets to manage calls while remaining mobile throughout the facility. A full suite of software solutions are offered to track and access call logs, record and archive emergency calls, provide back-up notification, and to provide full call billing features. The system may also be configured to accept inputs and provide customized notification from a variety of additional accessories or detectors, such as door/access points, to increase the level of security for both Residents and staff.

Emu Emergency Monitoring Unit
The EMU Emergency Monitoring Unit is an economical and user friendly emergency response terminal with two-way voice capabilities. Enclosed within a small, visually pleasing design, this device reponds to remote pendant transmitters to link the user with our monitoring services. The EMU can support up to eight different wireless remote transmitters, making it an ideal, low cost monitoring solution for small to medium sized senior facilities, without the need for costly installations. Two-way voice response is programmable for either full or half duplex modes, making the unit extremely adaptable for a variety of environments. The EMU can be programmed on-site or remotely over the telephone, to enable the programming of additional users, even once installed. It is truly a 'plug & play' device of unprecedented ease of use. The EMU is also used in institutional seetings such as senior residences to provide wireless two-way voice emergency call features that can either be integrated with the facility's telephone system or used as a stand-alone nursecall system. This system offers all the benefits of advanced two-way voice monitoring directly between residents and response staff using portable handsets. The solution is extremely cost effective and competitively priced.
