MOLONEY ELECTRIC is a Canadian owned manufacturer of
distribution transformers. Headquarters is at Toronto, with
plants at Toronto, Ontario; Spruce Grove, Alberta; and Sackville,
New Brunswick. Products include oil filled distribution
transformers 5 to 1000 kVA single phase; up to 3000 kVA three
phase; up to 34.5 kV generally, except for some specialty 46 kV
units; and specialty transformers for variable voltage drives
480 to 4000 volts, 25 to 500 kVA, auto transformers and step
down
units.
Moloney Electric's satellite concept on manufacturing allows it
to serve specialized and standard distribution requirements.
All plants are totally integrated manufacturing
facilities.

Liquid Filled Transformers
Liquid filled distribution transformers from 5 kVA single phase
up to 3000 kVA three phase. Available in various styles and
voltages up to 46kV and 250 kV BIL. Units available in
polemounted, platform, padmount or submersible designs. Units
can be built to various standards including CSA, ANSI, IEC and
otehr applicable standards. Full test data can be provided.
Submersible Transformers
Submersible transformers can be provided and are available in
various types of steel tanks including stainless steel. Paint
finishes can be provided for various types of atmospheric
conditions as well. Various accessories are also available
including loadbreak switches, fusing, LV breakers, etc.
Units are available up 34.5kV, 150 kV BIL.

Transformer Tanks In Stainless Steel
Moloney Electric can provide any of its products in stainless
steel tanks. The normal designation is 304L stainless steel, but
units can be provided in both 316L and 409 stainless steel.
