Miller Environmental Corporation was established to develop and operate a hazardous waste management system for Manitoba. The mandate of Miller Environmental Corporation is to provide for the handling of provincially regulated hazardous wastes, and other industrial wastes, from their source through to their treatment and disposal, consistent with high standards of public health, safety and environmental quality. Miller Environmental Corporation is committed to the preservation and enhancement of environmental quality through the development of a hazardous waste management system for the Province. This undertaking is a fundamental element needed to achieve the broader objectives of universal environmental stewardship and sustainable economic development within Manitoba.

• Bioremediation Utilizing Enhanced Biopiles.

  Off site ex-situ development of biopiles for the treatment of soils contaminated with gasoline, diesel, or heavier hydrocarbons is performed. Propagation of indigenous bacteria is promoted through application of optimum conditions. Up to 4, 000 tonnes can be treated per batch at the central facility.
