Life Basics
A Canadian Montreal-based company with an office in Shenzhen (south of China, near Hong Kong), our business is solely managed and operated by its five owners. Life Basics' (LB) multicultural team, who speak English, French, Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese as well as two other Chinese dialects, has more than sixty combined years of experience in the apparel manufacturing industry. LB's team has also developed specialties and extensive expertise in quality control, fabrics, pattern making, sizing and denim.
Life Basics is a one-stop shop for all knit and denim apparel manufacturing needs, including samples, with offerings tailored to each client's demand and budget as well as personalized quality and flexible service. Our team's sixty years of experience has allowed us to develop a vast network of well established contacts and partnerships in all aspects of the industry, allowing us to select the best resources for our clients' needs and obtain the best quotes possible which translates into competitive prices for our clients. This also means that our clients don't have to deal with the language and cultural barriers and frustrations and valuable time lost associated with finding and negotiating with the right suppliers, whether it be for fabrics, accessories or production.
Our team members in our office overseas are on site to oversee all aspects of production to ensure all orders are handled to strict compliance of clients' specifications and to ensure quality and consistency.
We welcome business opportunities with start-up companies and are able to handle small orders.
Life Basics also designs and manufactures its own clothing line.
In addition to offerings in the apparel and textile industry, Life Basics also has an import/export division which specializes in cosmetics/personal care products and consumer electronics.
