L&K International Training
Since its inception in 1972 as a consulting engineering practice, L and K International Training(formerly known as Leighton and Kidd)has evolved to become the world's premier producer of technical training programs. Our product line serves the power, transportation, aviation, marine, manufacturing and pulp and paper industries.
Our head office is based in Ontario, Canada and houses extensive production capabilities that allow us to plan ; script; shoot; prepare graphics; edit and produce both video and CD-ROM based training materials. In fact, we now have over 400 products available in 39 main categories of technical training. The majority of our video products are 60 minutes in length and are accompanied by student workbooks and instructor's guides.
Equally exciting has been our move into CD-ROM based training. We currently have 76 of our programs available in CD-ROM format with plans to produce 50 more over the coming year. Each CD provides our clients with unsurpassed learning technology that needn't require time off work to continue skill and knowledge enhancement. CD-ROM technology truly offers high quality training programs that are flexible and easy to manage.
L and K International Training has also created a new customization department. As many of our clientele produce in-house training, L and K has become a viable outsource alternative to these clients. L and K offers customization services that range from scripting , shooting, editing or producing segments of clients training needs. We also have an extensive video library that clients can purchase stock footage from and save themselves thousands of dollars of producing themselves.
