KCA, Kenn A. Coates Architect has practised architecture in Canada and abroad since 1991. Licensed since 1988 in Ontario, Kenn A. Coates, principal of KCA has an established practice having serviced residential, commercial, museums, institutional and industrial clientele in Canada, USA, Japan and the Caribbean. KCA has always accorded values that are attributable to good design and construction without abiding to trend for look and style.

Since 2000 Kenn has worked primarily in the USA namely Colorado on custom high-end residential and most recently Washington State on sustainable smaller home projects in 2002-03.

As practices change and evolve the practise has become focused on smaller quality residential projects as well as larger sustainable- green building projects.

KCA offers expertise in building audits, feasibility studies, planning, design + design-build. Specialties include museum exhibits, building renovation and residential project construction of all types.

KCA is a member of caGBC- Canada Green Building Council.
