JOSLYN CANADA through the use of Danaher Corp. technology
manufactures and supplies products used for the protection,
construction and maintenance of Electric Power Transmission
(69kV to 500kV) and Distribution facilities (5kV to 69kV). The
main products are vacuum capacitor switches, overhead vacuum
sectionalizers, vacuum switches for Distribution & Automation,
vacuum switches for arc furnaces, underground and pole top SF6
switches, light weight vacuum/SF6 recloser with microprocessor
based controls, solid state static transfer switches (SSTS) from
15 to 35kV, auto-transfer switches using vacuum, secondary and
distribution class surge arresters, station and intermediate
class surge arresters, and underground cable accessories.
Joslyn Canada is also actively involved in the research and
development of custom built products. It is located in Lachine,
Quebec where over twenty (20) people are employed. Over the
years, Josyln has established itself as one of the leading
manufacturers of Distribution equipment in Canada.

Fault Circuit Indicators
Fault circuit indicators help with restoration of power by
localizing the fault condition on the power system. Available in
standard trip models and adaptive trip models. Units can be
supplied with visual indication or a combination of visual and
radio transmitter to localize faulted distribution networks.
Radio transmitters in the fault circuit indicators allow for
operating personnel to locate fault conditions using haand held
receivers.
Fastran 25 Switch
A high speed transfer switch for power quality soultions. The
switch can transfer loads within 25 milliseconds. With an
advanced real-time monitoring control, the switch not only
switches on loss of power, but on critical over/undervoltage
conditions.
Capacitor Controllers
A complete line of capacitor controls for the switching of pole
top or substation capacitor banks. Controls switch on the
monitoring of VARS on the system. We feature an adaptive control
which takes the guess-work of programming the control, called
