IMS is located in Vancouver, with a Pacific-Rim location central to immigration, education and employment placement consulting markets in the United States, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. IMS provides immigration, education, business and investment consulting and employment placement services to Korean and other Asian nationals searching for a better life for themselves and their families. These services are provided by IMS professional staff in cooperation and with the assistance of its experienced and highly qualified attorney-partners.
In addition to guiding its clients through the qualification and application process for immigration, IMS consultants assist clients in arranging for admission to educational institutions and/or ESL programs, obtaining student visas and providing job search counseling and targeted employment placement services.
IMS' professional business consultants work closely with clients to prepare detailed business plans for business immigration, advise investor clients on investor visa programs and counsel wealthy clients on pre-immigration tax-planning strategies, second passports and off-shore structures.
After immigrants and/or students land in their destination country, IMS settlement consultants are available to assist them in initial relocation, home-stay arrangements, ESL and cultural adjustment to the new working and living environment, and to provide referrals to employment placement resources.

IMS and its affiliate, Coryo Emigration Corp., maintain staff in Seoul, Vancouver, Toronto and Auckland, and utilize representative consultants in Christchurch, NZ, Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec, South Carolina, mainland China and Hong Kong.
IMS has 30 staff in Vancouver and Toronto servicing different ethnic in different languages and Coryo employs a staff of over 30 translators, consultants, processors and marketing representatives in Seoul.
Significant company resources are invested in staff training and professional development, and nearly all staff members are bilingual.
TIMOTHY D. KNOWLES
IMS' Managing Director, Knowles is an American citizen.
A graduate of both Yale University
(B.A. History, 1976) and the Yale School of Management (M.B.A., 1982), Knowles is a former real estate financier and investment banker, with nearly ten years experience in international business in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam and Korea.
He served for five years as President of Capital South Corporation, a South Carolina-based $100 million diversified financial services company and for two years as Vice President of Winthrop University (a 5,000-student, state university in South Carolina), and possesses over six years experience in immigration consulting.
Knowles is primarily based in Vancouver and directs and coordinates IMS worldwide operations.
GLORIA KIM KNOWLES
IMS' Director, Gloria Kim Knowles, is a Korean citizen.
A graduate of Duksung Women's University (B.A. English Literature, 1986), and an immigration consultant since 1986, she was employed by several Korean and Canadian immigration firms and served as a private banking officer for the Bank of Montreal from
1989-91, prior to opening her own firm, New Horizon Consulting, Ltd. in 1991.
She founded Coryo Emigration Corp., in 1995, where she serves as owner, and Managing Director.
