Infotech Canada is a software development company that has been
designing and implementing Internet / Intranet solutions for the
last five years. Specifically, our expertise is focused on
Microsoft technology and our client server solutions are based
on Microsoft NT 4. We use Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP)
for most of our database integration efforts (with SQL Server
when necessary for scalability) when the corporate network
embraces the Internet. With over 400 clients spanning the
globe, Infotech Canada is quickly becoming renown for Canadian
Internet application excellence.
Webpage Online Inc. is Infotechs development division that
specializes in new media and works closely with Infotech Canada
on advanced web application projects. This company specifically
concentrates on dynamic website development and Internet
marketing strategies. Areas of specialization include: graphic
design, multimedia development (Macromedia FLASH & Director),
HTML XML, JavaScript and new technologies. Many of our web
hosting client relationships are maintained through Webpage
Online.
A wholly owned subsidiary, Avalon InterConnect, is a well-
respected Internet Service Provider (ISP) that currently
maintains a client list of over 5,000 customers. Areas of
specialization include: server farming, network design and
implementation, NT server environments, high-speed wireless
links, firewalls and translation software.

Electronic Commerce Solutions
Infotech Canadas e-Commerce initiatives are providing clients
with the tools and infrastructure necessary for future success
in the digital marketplace. We enable customers to offer secure
transaction capabilities to their clients and in effect provide
the technology needed to expand sales across the country or even
around the world. In addition to the secure electronic
transaction capabilities, the technologies we implement also
allow approval, shipping and follow-up of orders through one
easy-to-use system. The system is designed SET compliant and is
currently useable in Canada, USA, and is in BETA with selected
financial institutions in Singapore and the UK. We are actively
pursuing partners in several of these geographic areas.
- System currently supports CDN & US denominated transactions
from all major credit cards.
- Online processing time is less than 30 seconds / transaction
with deployment of cryptographic enhancement module in July 1999
which will reduce online processing time to under 10 seconds.
- As of August 1999 an additional add-on module which supports
IBM Net Commerce systems (Domino), will be available (depends on
participating banks).
