provided by the AHMA Educational Institute, attained in 1989.
Directors have served in Regional/Community Tourism Development
and Land Use Planning initiatives, specializing in Sustainable
Tourism Development. Have extensive experience in Hotel
operations, including Four Seasons, Best Western, Holiday Inn,
and Quality Inn franchises, with particular focus on Best
Western International. Contact Director served on Best Western
International Inc. Executive Marketing Advisory Committee for
two years, as one of 14 appointees in North America. Held a
Director Position with BC & Yukon Hotel Association, Maple Ridge
Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Action Society of the Kootenays,
and was a Director/Past-President of the Illecillewaet Greenbelt
Society. Represented Tourism Sector interests with Commission
on Resources and Environment for the West Kootenay Region of
British Columbia.
