The company also designs and engineers plant site communications
systems incorporating telephone and on-site paging.
Equipment is approved by Industry Canada, registered with the
United States Federal Communications Commission, approved by the
Canadian Standards Association and listed by Underwriters
Laboratories.
Equipment is sold around the world through agents and
distributors. Within North America units are sold through
national distributors as well as local interconnect companies.
Outside of North America the company seeks and has arrangements
with agents.
In its representative arrangements the company seeks an agent
capable of providing equipment installation and after sales
services (with factory guidance) as well as supplying bid support
elements such as performance bonds.
Equipment is warranted and uses standard telephone wiring and
parts available globally. Units are factory set for tone but are
switchable to pulse dialing.
Systems and equipment are in use with major customers in some 18
countries.
Commencing January 1, 1998 the company will offer contract
assembly services including population of surface-mount circuit
boards by automated pick and place equipment.

Explosion Proof Telephones - Ext401 Series
Approved for use in hazardous areas categorized as Class 1
Division 1 and 2 Groups B, C, and D and Class II Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G. The telephone has a copper-free,
cast aluminum enclosure which is weather proof (NEMA 4X), dust proof and corrosion resistant.
Hazardous Area Telephones - Wrt-h Series
Approved for use in hazardous areas categorized as Class I
Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D and Class II Division 1 & 2.
The telephone is contained in a polymer enclosure which is
weather proof, dust proof, corrosion resistant and nonincendive.
The telephone carries a CSA Enclosure 3R rating with or without
its spring-mounted door being closed.
Industrial Telephones - Sct Series
Four telephones in the SCT series are enclosed in steel enclosures which are weather proof, dust proof and corrosion resistant. The Model SCT-20 has meet environmental guidelines as set forth by the United States Department of Defense, specifically MIL-STD 810E.
(environmental). These telephones are designed for and used in
applications such as mines (hard-rock, potash, etc.) whose
environments may be dusty, wet, or very humid.
Industrial Water Tight Telephones - Wtt Series
Three telephones in the WTT series are housed in polymer
enclosures with spring-mounted doors. Units are weather
proof, dust proof and corrosion resistant with or without their
doors being closed. These telephones are designed for use in weather-exposed locations and can resist rough use. These telephones have been tested for use between
-50 to +50 C and offer features such as memory dialing, redial,
muting, volume adjustment, and so on.
Accessories
The company manufactures a line of industrial and hazardous area signaling devices such as ringers, paging speakers, combination speaker/ringer, acoustic booths, ring detect relays, off-hook detect relays, 12VDC power supplies, and strobe lights.
