FORESBEC began its operations in 1980 in Drummondville, Quebec
(Canada). Today, the company is one of the world leaders in the
manufacturing and marketing of premium quality North-American
hardwood products.
FORESBEC specializes in the manufacturing and sale of lumber and
value-added hardwood products. The company offers a wide
selection of species including: white oak, red oak, hard maple,
black cherry, white ash, black walnut, red elm, grey elm and
yellow birch. FORESBEC mainly produces upper grades of lumber (1
common and better) and its customers include distributors of high
quality hardwoods as well as manufacturers of solid wood
furniture, mouldings, doors and other crafted wood products. The
company is also an important supplier of dimensions for the
flooring and the furniture industries.
