EADS designs and manufactures a comprehensive line of products ranging from light utility and business aircraft to widebody commercial transports, from light helicopters to heavy multi-engine machines, from anti-tank missiles to strategic ballistic missiles, and from scientific satellites to the Ariane launch vehicles.

EADS Canada Inc. was established in April 1989 as a wholly-owned subsdidiary of EADS International. It is responsible for the development of marketing, commercial and industrial strategies targeting the Canadian market and for liaison with clients and Canadian industrial partners. EADS is the sole shareholder of
Eurocopter Canada Ltd., in Fort Erie, Ontario which offers customers a wide range of helicopters for military, search and rescue and observation missions and for commercial transport and public works. Together with the province of Nova Scotia, EADS is a 50% shareholder of Composites Atlantic in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, a company specialized in the manufacturing of advanced composites for aeronautics, space, defense and commercial products. It has been awarded the prestigious international quality control qualifications ISO 9001 and DI-9000, FAA, DOT, NASA.
