Edwards Glass Company Limited celebrated its 83th anniversary in
2003. In those 83 years, a great deal has changed and yet as the
saying goes, a great deal stayed the same. Like yesterday, the
fine tradition and legacy continues.
Their works in new custom stained glass, whether traditional,
contemporary, heraldic, for example, has gained an enviable
reputation internationally in homes, different institutions as
well as memorial windows for churches; and their value as art
escalates over the years.
Their unique methods acquired since 1920, with respect to fully
releading and restoring existing old stained glass windows within
the same markets, has resulted in longevity once completed with
the end result lasting for decades versus a few short years.
Their moto - PROVEN QUALITY ABOVE THE REST, says it all.
Protection of existing stained glass windows is becoming
increasingly important for many reasons, vandalism being just one
of them and as a result, Edwards Glass Company Limited developed
their own one-of-a-kind storm glazing system which gives ultimate
protection to these works of art.
Their custom wood working area as well has become increasingly
busy since it was implemented.
Edwards Glass Company Limited also teaches stained glass classes
and boasts being the largest supplier of coloured glass and
supplies to hobbyists etc., in Southwestern Ontario. A good
amount of these supplies are being imported from many remote
parts of the world.
