Founded in 1982 and operating under the name of Electromed
International until December 2000 (ISO9001 in 1996), emd mainly
focuses on the OEM market by offering state of the art X-Ray
Generators.

Extensive R&D programs enabled the company to constantly improve
its generators and expand its products range

In 1996, Emd introduced a new line of high performance and cost-
effective generators, the constant potential Compact-X family.

The CPX3100CV model, acknowledged for its outstanding power and
flexibility, spurred the company in taking the leading edge in
cardiac radiology.

By the new millennium, emd chosen to diversify its product lines
and to establish itself in the design of innovative X-ray
generators.

Propelled by its new ultra high frequency and high efficient X-
ray generator technology, the company is ready to meet the
several technical and economical constraints ruling the various
contemporary radiological fields.

The companys solutions for the new millennium are based on
patented technologies, unique to emd, such as the EDEC
technology and, more particularly, the unprecedented Ultra High
Frequency (U.H.F.) plus High Efficiency Modulation Technology.

CT scanning and related fields accurate, effective and
affordable means of medical investigation.
