Securities Commission new regulation, known as the Whistleblower Rule or Multilateral Instrument 52-110 resulting from Sarbanes-Oxley in the US, requires each company's audit committee to establish procedures for 'the confidential, anonymous submission by employees of the issuer for concerns regarding questionable accounting or auditing matters.
