Decon Studrail Inc. is the manufacturer of Studrails, a punching
shear reinforcement commonly used at slab-column connections in
place of stirrups and capitals. Studrails have approval of CWB
(Canadian Welding Bureau) and ICBO (International Conference of
Building Officials); reference CONST9 and ICBO Es ER-5078 reports
respectively. Studrails are also referenced in the Canadian
