Davis Diagnostics Limited has been manufacturing a line of
safety shields to provide splatter protection from bodily
fluids. These have been marketed for the past seven years.
The main market has been to hospitals and private
laboratories in Canada. However, placements have been
made to several areas in the United States including New
York, Texas, the mid-West and California. These sales
were the result of a ``New Product`` announcement in the
Laboratory Medicine publications.
