Slab Preform Press
SLAB PREFORM PRESS The 150-Ton Dual Layer Slab Preform Press was designed specifically to preshape friction and backing material into an accurately weighed 'slab preform' with two distinct layers for easy handling. The result creates less dust and material separation than conventional models. Features: Adjustable chute dividers for even material distribution Screw type feeding system allows fast and accurate weighing without material separation Precision load cell allows accurate weighing to 0.15 lbs. (68g) (depending upon material characteristics) Hardened ejector block and slide plate for long life Quiet running Extensive use of cartridge valves to provide fast cycle time and longer life. A generously sized oil reservoir allows for a cooler running machine. Fast cycle time of 4 parts per minute

Cure Press
CURE PRESS The CORSTEEL Cure Press is designed to heat cure and bond the preform to the backing plate. A ball elevating table, driven by hydraulic cylinder, transports the preform molds between daylights in the cure press, thus reducing the labor associated with the handling of brake production molds. The movement of the press and ball-elevating table is programmed to optimize production. The cure press and table are programmable. Two press programs and four table programs are set as factory defaults. The display screen allows for the selection of each. Standard Cure Presses are available in 330 and 450 Ton models. Other tonnage models are also available. Features: Ball elevating table minimizes the handling of the mold by the operator, thus reducing the chance of injury Heavy duty mill type cylinder for continuous and low maintenance operation Extensive use of cartridge valves provides fast response and maintenance free operation Quiet running Fast cycle time achieved by fast press speed
