Coles Door Systems Ltd.
Coles Door Systems Ltd. manufactures wood overhead doors,
overhead door wood components, a full line of interior mouldings
in spruce and aspen (including jamb, casing, base, crown, and
header), split jambs, speciality mouldings, log siding, softwood
and hardwood flooring, and wainscoting. Coles Door Systems Ltd.
also produces edge glued panels and stair treads in various
species of wood.
Coles Door Systems Ltd. design and manufacture custom products
where precision milling is required, with special emphasis where
short pieces of wood are needed, i.e. 300mm to 2,500 mm. For
example, the milling and precision cutting of all the components
for butcher block tables. The components were shipped to
England to a manufacturer who assembled and sold the finished
tables.
Samples of other products sent to the United Kingdom include bed
components, wine rack materials, precision stretcher frames for
craft work, components for coffins, and pressure treated
handrail. Products exported to Japan include aspen mouldings,
overhead doors, and operators. Sales to France include clear
spruce mouldings.
New to the product line is a line of cabin furniture and garden
fencing made from Canadian tamarack.
Coles Door Systems Ltd. is a member of the Canadian Construction
Association, the Construction Association of Prince Edward
Island, the Wood Products Group, the Prince Edward Island
Association of Wood Products Manufacturers, the International
Door Association, and the Canadian Door Institute. The Company
is accredited by the Institute of Door Dealer Education and
Accreditation.
