Canpotex is the worlds largest exporter of potash, an international marketing and distribution company wholly owned by the Saskatchewan potash producers: Agrium Inc., The Mosaic Company, and Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc.
As a competitive world supplier, Canpotex markets Saskatchewan potash principally to countries in Asia, Latin America, and Oceania. Operating since 1972, Canpotex has corporate offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Saskatoon, and Vancouver.
The Companys potash sales are currently in the range of 8 million metric tons a year. Its major markets include China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Brazil, and Australia.
