On October 28, 1999, the merger between Aptec Instruments Ltd.
(APTEC) and Nuclear Research Corporation (NRC) was finalized.
The name of this newly merged entity is Aptec-NRC Inc. Eurisys
Mesures (EM) acquired a majority position of Aptec-NRC Inc.

This new group an its synergy has formed one of the world's
largest radiation detection organizations with mutual technical
and marketing support, oriented to customer satisfaction.

Aptec-NRC Inc. is a leader in the supply of civil and military
radiation protection instruments and radiation and area
monitoring systems for nuclear power plants and other facilities
with two manufacturing plants in Warrington, PA and Dover, NJ.
The Canadian facility in Concord, Ontario is a leading
manufacturer of analytical spectroscopy and health physics
related radiation safety monitoring equipment.

Eurisys Mesures, is a French company that has three plants in
France, as well as subsidiaries in Germany and China plus a world
wide network of dedicated representatives. Eurisys Mesures is a
leading manufacturer of nuclear electronics, high purity
germanium and silicon detectors, alpha and gamma spectroscopy
system, neutron counters, G-M detectors, alpha/beta counting
systems and dosimeters. It also services the nuclear industry
with a complete range of nuclear systems for waste assay,
decommissioning and dismantling, safeguard and spent-fuel control
and characterization.
