Portable Fireplace is a fireplace that is completely portable, no chimney needed and no electricity needed. You move it anywhere in the house. Setting up takes 10 minutes and taking it apart takes 10 minutes. Concept is ULC approved, safetied and certified.
This is how it works.
You have a full size mantel with a metal firebox (insert). The insert has a 2 piece logset in it.
You put the fireplace were you want it. Remove the top log and you see 3 cannisters. Fill up a cannister with 'Firegel'. Put the top log back in place and light the Firegel with a long lighter. In 5-10 seconds you have a 12' flame that dances up and down. You can choose to light up 1 or 2 cannisters for ambiance or light up 3 cannisters for maximum heat value. You can snuff it out and relight at a later date. Just poor some fresh Firegel on top and relight it.
To move the fireplace you take off the toplid, slide out the insert and fold the sides in (sides and front are attached with hinges) and you are ready to store it or move it to another room.

Firegel is a alcohol based gel that is being used together with the Portable Firepalce. You poor the Firegel in a cannister and light it with a long match or bbq lighter.
The Firegel is a very clean burning product that can be safely used in a house/condo/cottage or any type of dwelling.
Firegel and the Portable Fireplace have been ULC approved safetied and certified in Canada for the consumer market.
