Founded in 1987 by a group of experienced professionals, Ivation
Datasystems Inc. has been a boutique consulting services firm,
specializing in statistics, micro-simulation and socio-economic
computing. Based in Ottawa, Canada, Ivation today maintains a
long-term service relationship with a number of customers,
including Statistics Canada, which has among the highest of
reputations among statistical agencies worldwide.
In 1988, the long experience of Ivation's founders in
socio-economic computing permitted them to recognize the
opportunity for innovation work in the development of
multi-dimensional software tools. On the basis of early successes
and encouragement from customers, Ivation made the business
decision to build upon its successful consulting practice by
