Animat Inc.'s Rubber Recycling And Reuse Process.
Animat Inc. is involved in the reuse of recycled rubber in finished products. The crumbs are then fed to the transformation equipment developed by Animat Inc. They are mixed with binding chemicals, shaped and moulded in a multi-level heat compression unit (vulcanization process) for the manufacture of finished products.
Entirely mechanical, the technology operates at ambient temperature. No liquid waste is generated, but the dust and vapours created by vulcanization must be collected in a dust collector.
