site in London, where it makes a wide range of industrial and
household abrasives, fluorochemicals, pressure-sensitive tapes,
sealants and coatings, aerosol adhesives, micro encapsulated
products, stain repellents and other products.
Six other plants are located in Brockville, Havelock, Perth, and
Toronto, Ontario and Morden, Manitoba. Sales offices are located
in major cities across the country and customers are supported by
a national service network. Up to 75 percent of what 3M Canada
manufactures is exported to 3M in the United States and to other
subsidiaries worldwide.
Overall, the company manufactures and/or sells nearly 50,000
products, including abrasives; adhesives, coatings and sealers;
pressure sensitive tapes; reflective and decorative plastic
films; roofing granules; traffic control products; glass
microspheres; visual and computer-related office products;
medical, surgical and dental products; electrical and electronic
connectors, cables and other products; and commercial chemicals.
